Esta era la quinta edición del festival inglés, un evento dedicado a la banda melódica del rock duro. Es una cita muy conocida por los fans de este tipo de música, que aunque parezca a simple vista de un gran corporativismo, lo cierto es que existe un Underground muy sano a su alrededor sin nada de añadiduras comprometidas por medio. El festival estaba planeado para tres días, pero se vieron forzados a simplificarlo en dos y echar mano el día perdido a un “Meet and greed” con las bandas del festival sumándose un acústico de un par de bandas no participantes. Eso no lo pude ver, ya que decidí marchar a ver otro concierto en la ciudad inglesa, como ya he comentado en mi anterior post. Bien, el sábado empezamos la ronda de conciertos a mediodía y con la puntualidad británica como eje principal en todo el festival. Los primeros en estrenar el escenario fueron los Angelinos Talon, tras unos cambios de formación siguen con un nuevo cantante, simplemente
entretuvieron. El despegue en sí del festival lo tuvimos en la grata sorpresa de descubrir otra banda Angelina, Loud & Clear que vinieron y convencieron con su rock melódico y tintes glamorosos, a destacar una gran versión en forma de medley unido del “Don’t stop believin’” y “enter sandman”. Paul Laine fue el siguiente en aguantar un nivel muy alto con el soporte de miembros de Danger Danger, el show comprendía la interpretación en exclusiva de un disco clásico de facturación propia, “ Stickit in your ear”. Paul Laine demostró su buen hacer en otros campos que no le eran propios como el blues. Valentine,
fueron los siguientes, pese a tener todo a su favor algo falló, y los clones de Journey no brillaron tanto como hubiera sido de esperar, a pesar de sus buenas intenciones todo se vino abajo cuando sacaron su vena gospel encima del escenario con cuatro chavalitos. En cambio, quien tiene asegurado el éxito es Jeff Scott Soto que nos ofrecía la única actuación como banda tras la edición de su nuevo disco, supongo que el próximo año tendrá que hacer gira, de momento y por lo visto, el show que podemos esperar de un tipo con mucho talento que ha estado junto a los grandes del género sin demasiada suerte. Lo que me hizo falta en realidad es que interpretara “Stand up” para redondear un gran concierto, lo que le pasó es que no tuvo el tiempo suficiente para hacerlo ya que la grabación del show para su DVD le había retrasado un poco. Pink Cream 69 fueron los siguientes y gustaron a sus fans, pero no eran para disfrutar tanto como lo hicieron muchos de los asistentes. En cambio el nivel volvió a crecer con la presencia de Tyketto, que repetían tras el éxito del pasado año y que emocionaron con temas como “Forever young” con un Danny Vaughn en perfectas
condiciones físicas y vocales, gran fin de fiesta para el sábado.

This was the fifth edition of the English festival, an event dedicated to the band's side of melodic hard rock. It is a very familiar to fans of this genre of music, although it appears at first sight of a large corporatism, the fact is that there is a very healthy Underground around them without any additions compromised by half. The festival was planned for three days, but were forced to simplify it in two and dip into the day lost "Meet and greed&quot" with bands in the festival alongside an acoustic band for a couple of non-participants. That not what I saw, and I decided to go see another concert in the English city, as I said in my previous post.
Well, on Saturday started the round of concerts at noon and with the British punctuality as the main axis around the festival. The first to build the arena were the Angels Talon, after some changes are still training with a new singer, just entertained. The festival itself off what we had in the pleasant surprise of discovering another band from Los Angeles, Loud & Clear and convinced that came with his melodic rock and dyes glamorous, a great stress release in the form of a united medley "Don't stop believin with "Enter Sandman". Paul Laine was next in line to hold a very high level with the support of members of Danger Danger, the show included the exclusive interpretation of a classic album billing itself "Stickit in your ear" Paul Laine showed its good work in other fields that you were not like the blues themselves. Valentine were the following, despite having everything in its favor something went wrong, and the clones of Journey not shone as much as had been expected, despite its good intentions when everything collapsed vein removed his gospel above the podium with four guys . In contrast, who has ensured the
success is Jeff Scott Soto who offered us the only act as a band after the release of their new album, I guess that next year will have to tour at the moment and obviously we can expect the show a guy with a lot of talent that has been next to the large gender without much luck. What I did in fact lack is understood that "Stand" to round off a great concert, what happened is that he did not have enough time to do so since the recording of the show for DVD.
He had been delayed a bit. Pink Cream 69 were as follows liked and their fans, but they were not to enjoy as much as they did many of the
attendees. In contrast, the level rose again in the presence of Tyketto, which repeated after the success of the past year and touched with topics like "Forever Young" with a Danny Vaughn in perfect physical condition and vowels, so great celebration for Saturday.
